I just watched a youtube video on this, and the advice was:

1. Foundation Piece (item outfit is based around)
2. Colour Palette (black, brown, navy, monochrome, neutrals, pop of colour)
3. Unnecessary Item (hat, blazer, belt)
4. Jewelry (mix real and fashion)
5. Bag & Shoes (should match what you’re doing that day)

I feel like I should inventory my clothes sometimes. Like what do I even HAVE? Blergh.

I don't know, I already feel like you dress pretty cute. c: is there something you're trying to work on? I do like the tip of mixing real and costume/fashion jewelry though. Some fashion jewelry can feel a little cheesy or too matchy or too try-hard if you're wearing all costume jewelry, but it's really fun in a way that some quality jewelry often isn't (like most of us are not rocking real bling like royalty and need to get our colored sparkles in the less than 10 million dollar bin.) Still, the real quality jewelry brings a sense of story to an outfit or to your person. I feel like most of us when we wear our 'real' jewelry, it's telling about life stages like our first big job, a special romance, a kid we had, a special life moment, etc. It almost seems like it serves a different purpose than costume jewelry- like showing me versus showing my mood for the day the way costume/fashion choices can.
